Gao Residence by Barré and Lambot Architects in progress

Philippe Barré and Agnès Lambot from Barré and Lambot Architects have just announced that the construction of Gao Residence, located in Quai de Tourville, Nantes (France), is in progress.

This construction started in 2009 and is ongoing. The construction permit, delivered in 2009, indicates that this 7286 square-meter and twelve-storey building consists of housings, a bar and shops: 53 apartments facing the Loire river; social housing will contain 13 apartments located in the rue Bias; and Students residence will host 85 apartments located in the new street.

A 240 square-meter bar on the southern side and 275 square-meter shops implanted in the rue Bias. A four-level parking will host 105 cars. This residence will be an energy-saving building as required by the HQE Label (Haute Qualité Environnemenale).

Gao Residence is announced to be completed in 2012.
